Introducing Kadence’s Latest Sponsored Student: Erki Klamas
Over a series of posts, we’ll be sharing highlights from Erki Klamas’ ongoing design journey, from initial involvement with Kadence Studio to the completion of his master’s and beyond.
A Motivated Student
Erki first connected with Kadence during a summer break, supporting the design team by designing and modelling a variety of custom wheels in Autodesk Alias, earning the informal title of “the wheel guy.” (see images below).
Though the role began as voluntary unpaid work, the level of care, craft, and commitment he brought to the task stood out.
Opening Doors
His contribution quickly led to paid opportunities and the offer of sponsorship in his Masters in Automotive Design at the University of Staffordshire, marking the start of his professional journey with Kadence Studio. A reminder that initiative, quality, and reliability rarely go unnoticed.
This post marks the beginning of a series exploring Erki’s Masters project, an insight into his skill development, and early career progression within Kadence.
