Two Decades of Automotive Design Service Excellence

Kadence is the natural evolution of a business journey that started in 2007 with the formation of SINO Engineering, established to provide automotive engineering services to UK clients from our base in Shanghai. The company quickly became a supplier to a number of Chinese OEMs while continuing to build its global client base.

In 2018 the company acquired Tarus Shanghai, a business renowned for providing creative support services, from digital modelling and A Class surfacing through to full show car build. The companies merged seamlessly and served as the foundation for Kadence, allowing the company to provide its clients with a full service from sketch to digital model, to full-scale model build, and everything in between.

Commenting on the journey Kadence has taken, company founder and Managing Director Antony Ward said: “I personally enjoy the creative process, working with designers to bring their visions to life. Kadence reflects what I and the team enjoy most about the automotive industry.”

“With our locations in China, we have a base in what is one of the most influential automotive markets, well positioned to take advantage of opportunities in the region and beyond. I am originally from the UK, where there is still a great deal of creative and technical skill. For this reason, we have selected the UK as the site for our Innovation & Project Management Hub.”
